Paki
Zennaro is a musician and composer from Venice. He devotes
himself mainly to the contemporary dance. The first meeting
with the French composer Rene Aubry and the choreographer
Carolyn Carlson in the “Teatro la Fenice” in
Venice in 1981 was a decisive contribution to his love for
contemporary dance. Later on, there have been more
successful collaborations between the three.
In the
following years, it was mainly the Parisian School to lead
his artistic work into this direction. Paki Zennaro
composed pieces for performances and festivals all around
the world, for Carolyn Carlson, Larrio Ekson, Malou Airaudo
and others. From 1999 to 2002, Paki Zennaro was musician
and composer for “Biennale Danza” in Venice. In
2008 he composed the music for “Rooms of the
Cloud” for “Biennale Danza” under the
direction of Ismael Ivo.
Paki Zennaro regularly
attends workshops with Larrio Ekson, Carolyn Carlson,
Ismael Ivo and others.
